On Saturday, Kirsten Wild, of the Cervélo TestTeam, got the victory at the Omloop van Borsele, taking the sprint in front of Marian Vos and Alexandra Greenfield. This is her second victory in a row in this race.

In the mountain bike scene, Marga Fullana (Massi) was second in the second round of the MTB World Cup, held in Offenburg, after leading the race from the half of the first lap until the last kilometers. Her second spot takes her up to the second position overall.

In the Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Simon Gerrans, of the Cervélo TestTeam, closed this week of Classics with another top 10 finish, being 6th. On his side, the Olympic Champion of Euskaltel-Euskadi team Samuel Sánchez was 10th.
